Priscilla Lane Davis, age 79, died in Austin, Texas on September 24, 2018. She was a resident of Wimberley, Texas prior to moving to Austin for care.
Born January 21, 1939 in Clovis, New Mexico, to Doyle Lane and Helena Upton Lane, Priscilla married Bob Davis on September 11, 1956. They lived in France in 1957 and Germany in 1958 and 1959.
She lived in El Paso, Texas most of her life and worked for Ysleta Independent School District from August 1970 until she retired in 2007. She was voted Teacher of the Year for the 1996-1997 school year at Ysleta Middle School teaching math. She moved to Wimberley, Texas in 2008 to be near her daughter and grandchildren.
Priscilla was a member of The First Baptist Church in Wimberley, Texas and enjoyed bible study, socials, and the church services. She made several cherished friends through the church.
She is survived by her daughter, Catherine, her son, Michael, her grandchildren Curtis and Caitlyn, and her great-grandson, Lincoln. Priscilla was preceded in death by her mother and father and her sister, Patricia Boulton.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church in Wimberley, Texas. She will be buried at the family plot in Sudan, Texas next to her mother and grandparents.
Thank you to Austin Hospice for their continuous support and care. Thank you to all of her friends who continued to visit with her and constantly offered their love and support.
