Mark was my very best friend from Kindergarten through third grade. Just four years, but when you're that young, it seems like forever. I really regret drifting away from our friendship, as kids do. Mark was kind, thoughtful, gentle, and funny. Four characteristics that I value highly in people.
I've really missed him.
I wish his friends and family all the peace and comfort they need.

Mark, so much fun together since high school, double dates, playing tennis, living together in Austin, kindness was your personality, acceptance of everyone was a strength of yours, thank you for being in my life, see you on the other side old friend.

Mark, bro this is Otto. I just found out that you left us last June. So sorry to hear. I was just hanging to Lubin and Barfield and talking about the Days and Nights of Senior lot at Crest and found out about your departure; may god be with you on your journey.
Condolences to all family and friends, Mark gone too soon!

My name is Donagh and I come from Ireland. I worked with Mark in '96 at the Dallas Medallion Hotel. I was 21 and fresh out of hotel school. He was a great guy and we drank many a shiner bock together. He taught me how to ski on his boat at the lakes - it took me the best part of a day but he had such patience and kept going until I got it! I can still hear the roar of the boat after me saying "Hit it". I tried to get in touch with him a few times over the years but could never find him on social media. I tried again today and found this page and I am saddened to see this. I would love to have spoken to him again. I will remember him forever as we had such good times in the year I knew him before I returned to Ireland. RIP Mark.

Mark was part of my family since I was like 5. My brother Todd and mark are brothers. We will miss our Gatherings and will miss my talks with Doc. When I younger Mark dubbed me Bird. He would always sing Bird is the word..... always. You are missed and I love you always: RIP my sweet one.

I met Mark thru mutual friends after his battle with cancer began; however, he was always selfless, positive and thoughtful of others needs. And very funny. A Good man. My sympathy to the family.

Mark's love was bigger than Big Tex at the fair. The fair was a transporter to The Lady at the Paris Exhibition. We will miss our art talks and walking in the woods.

I came to HHS from the private schools and Mark was one of the first boys to smile and say hello to me. He always had a kind smile and beautiful spirit. This saddens me so much. Prayers to his family and close friends❤

Mark was a genuinely wonderful, caring, loving man. I am so very honored to have the privilege of having him be a part of my life. So much so that my oldest daughter had twins (boy/girl) and I am constantly reminded of Mark and Karen. My deepest condolences to the entire family. Mark was one of a kind. Lots of love, prayers and hugs to you all. ❤❤
