Beverly Avery Obituary
Beverly M. Avery, 86, of Grand Haven Township, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 18, 2025.
Beverly was born on May 24, 1939, to the late Milo and Jennie (Helmers) Sovis of Grand Haven. Beverly worked at Peerless Novelty in Grand Haven. Beverly liked to travel and go camping. Beverly was a member of the First Reformed church in Grand Haven.
Beverly is survived by her husband Robert of 67 years, brother Milo Douglas (Diane) Sovis Jr., Kenneth Sovis, sister-inj-law Joan (Robert) Gardner and very special friends Larry Kimball, Lussetta and late Craig Barbrick, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Beverly will be remembered by many people, especially her friends and family for the love she had for all of them. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, sister Elaine (James) Griswold, and brother Robert (Rose) Sovis.
Per Beverly's request, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial at a later date. Contributions can be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, National Kidney Foundation, or the American Heart Association.
