Edward Landry Obituary
Edward L. Landry, 78, Green Bay, died Monday, June 26, 2017. He was born March 10, 1939 to the late Alden W. and Jeanette (Bartzen) Landry in Green Bay. He served in the U S Army Reserve from 1957 to 1965. On August 20, 1960, he married Phyllis Bettine at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Green Bay.
Edward was employed at Green Bay Metropolitan Sewage District for 21 years. He was a 25-year member of the Ashwaubenon Youth Hockey Association of which he served as president and vice-president. He was manager of the Ashwaubenon Varsity Hockey Team for 15 years and past member and vice-president of the National Maintenance Institute. Edward was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. He liked to spend his spare time at their cabin, Triple "L" Pines, in Hazelhurst, Wisconsin.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; his sons, Todd (Janet), Grayslake, Illinois and Kevin (Sue), Howard, Wisconsin; and daughter, Renee (Thomas) Hughes, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, James, Megan and Michael Landry, Grayslake, Illinois, Emily Landry, Howard, Wisconsin and her fiancé, Mike Kammer, Milwaukee and Major Samuel Hughes, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania; other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, George and Katie Bartzen, whom he was very close to, and his sisters, Yvonne Kurowski and Nancy Janhke
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue. Visitation will continue at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 South Oneida Street, on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with the Rev. Robert Rank officiating. Expressions of sympathy, memories and photos of Edward may be shared with his family on his tribute page at www.lyndahl.com. In lieu of flowers, please provide donations in person or to, Jack and Engrid Meng Hospice Residence at Unity Hospice.org.

Ed and I worked together for 9yrs. He was a good ol boy with whom I respected and enjoyed working with. I played golf with him and had many laughs together. Sorry for your loss, my prayers are with the Landry family.
