Dear Carolyn Pickrel and family,

My deepest condolences on your loss. It was unfortunate for us that Dick and I were in the same rehabilitation hospital in 2017. It was my good fortune however to have Dick as a roommate for that week. I enjoyed talking to him and meeting his devoted wife, Carolyn. Please know you are in my thoughts.

Sincerely,

Bruce Bauer

My favorite time with Mr. Pickrell would be our last visit together a couple of weeks ago. He was struggling to talk, but we laughed together. He laughed because he couldn't talk, and it was hard to communicate, but it was the twinkle in his eyes that warmed my heart. You will be missed by many. Thank You for your service Dick. We at Angel Care love and miss you.
I want you to know that I am still checking in with Carolyn, she is okay buddy.

My deepest condolences to your family and loved ones.
