Michele was born June 27, 1970 in Landstuhl, Reiginland Falls, Germany to Mary E. Johnson and Michael Lenz while he was deployed. They then moved to Gettysburg SD, where she started school. Later, she moved with her mother to Columbus GA, staying with her grandmother, Ermine Johnson, before returning to Gettysburg. Her small family grew, when Roy Combellick became her dad on June 27, 1976, a date picked by Michele. After graduating from Gettysburg High School in 1989, she moved to Watertown to continue her education at Lake Area VoTech, earning her degree in Human Services. While in Watertown, she met John Pickrel. They married June 11,1994 and made their home in Clark. She became a mother on June 24, 1999 when their daughter, Jennifer was born. She worked as a human services technician for an agency, and also for the Redfield State School, eventually retiring early due to medical issues. She enjoyed her pets, and spending time with her family.
