GRAVEL, Maurice 1964-2018 Suddenly, on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at the age of 53. Loving husband of Wendy Routliffe for 19 years. Devoted father of Jessica and Ryan. Son of Annette and the late Réal. Beloved brother of Hélène (Jacques Maxwell), Roland (Carrie) and Jocelyne (Derek Hardy). Maurice's memory will be cherished by his many nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. "Moe," as everyone knew him, had a big heart in oh-so many ways. Everyone he met was welcome in his large and always lively circle of friends, and in his home, warmly and openly. Moe worked hard - maybe too hard - but celebrated life well, too. He enjoyed watching sports, going on ATV and hunting trips with the boys, attending concerts, working around the house, and helping - family, friends and all who asked or needed it. Most of all, he enjoyed people. He will be greatly missed. Friends and family may pay respects at Kelly Funeral Home - Kanata Chapel 580 Eagleson Road 613-591-6580 From 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m., Friday, January 12, 2018. A Mass of Christian Funeral for Maurice will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, Fallowfield (15 Steeple Hill Crescent) Saturday, January 13, 2018, at 11 a.m. Everyone is invited to join family and friends for a light lunch following the service, in the Church hall. Wendy, Jessica, Ryan and extended family.
So sorry for your loss and deep sorrow.
Such a great loss for anyone who knew Moe.
Always looked forward to passing by house and talking with Moe. Enjoyed sharing a laugh and general enjoyment of the day. Could always count on positive happy conversation in the moment. Moe always expressed his enjoyment of Jessica and Ryan every time we spoke. He will be sorely missed but often in our thoughts.
