Robert Davis Obituary

ENGLEWOOD — Robert "Bob" Lee Davis, age 82, of Englewood, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020. He was born May 6, 1938 to the late Denver and Wanda (Shank) Davis in Englewood, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents and first cousin, Jack Davis.

He will be missed and remembered by his uncle Byron Davis; first cousin, D. Gene Thompson of Arcanum; cousins, Renae Thompson of Dayton, Rayna Jenssen of Arcanum, and Kimberly (Terry) House of Arcanum; and good friends, George and Tim Stebbins.

Bob retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base as an electrical engineer. He was an avid bicyclist and was a member of the Dayton Cycling Club. Bob was a lifetime member of the Salem Church of the Brethren, Englewood. He loved playing volleyball at the Englewood YMCA and the Vandalia Recreation Center.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton. Online memories of Bob may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.

Bob, you were a gentleman and a speedy bike rider, even as a senior! We would see you every year on Greene Trails on the century day, passing us heading to Loveland, then again passing us heading back to Xenia. We spoke many times at food stops and post ride meals, and you always seemed to be a nice guy. May God grant you a smooth trail ahead!
