Dorothy Thoman Obituary

Dorothy Jean Thoman

1934 - 2025

Our determined Mrs. Thoman stayed with us for as long as she could, almost 91 years!

She didn't need to travel, but for antique shows. She wasn't big on shopping, but for a special "gift." She enjoyed creating, from what was around her, something that would make us happy!

Preceded in death by her husband Neil and their son Mark, we rejoice in their heavenly reunion! Her family was her all and we will carry-on with gratitude and pride.

Sister, Rae-Ellen; daughter, Donna (and Lisa); granddaughter, Kiira; daughter-in-law Montesa; and all her beloved grands and great-grands; her nephews and nieces and cousins and friends... she's with us always, now! Keep rowing!

Lastly, we send our love, to the staff of Golden Empire... You're family too!

A memorial service will be held on October 19, 2025,

1pm - 4pm at the Clubhouse at Sierra Pines Mobile Home, 62 Primrose Ln, Grass Valley, CA 95945.

She was a remarkable woman. Spirited yet kind. I had deep respect for her and enjoyed our time together. She nurtured a strong family and I send sincere condolences to all of them. I will remember her with a smile and grateful heart.
