Even though I knew you just a few years within our SOS sailing group, you were inspiring, laughing, enjoying life, motivating and caring to all of us. Your smile is what I will remember the most, and it is challenging to fill your footsteps in our organisation. I know you are sailing towards the sunset, a comfortable breeze playing with a few of your hair strands and filling the sails. I hear your laugh while you're watching the dolphins swimming along side with you.

MEllen & the Muu-Muu lives forever in our heart

The Racquetball 'Girls' came together with the passion, determination and competitive spirit to play. In the process over 25+ years we became great friends. MEllen brought such effervescence and much laughter and great conversation into the mix. Undoubtedly, a great Mom, grandmother who was so happy and proud of her family and of course, friend to many. She was a burst of energy, always striving to be better, to learn more, care for others, just a joy to be around. She was always full of ideas, loved to play games-(you know, the real kind)! Mary Ellen always excelled because she was a very good listener! I can't even believe she left this earth yet. Will really really miss her ~ she was just one of a kind. Hugs to her family.
