Lewis F. Hanbury

Members of IUOE Local 77 are hereby notified of the passing of Brother Lewis F. "Bud" Hanbury on Friday March 13, 2026. Brother Hanbury was a member of Operating Engineers Local 77 for 54 years, joining the Local December 3, 1971. Bud served as President of the local union from 2005 – 2010, and as a business agent for the local from 2001 - 2010. The family will receive friends and family at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Monday March 23, 2026, from 2 pm - 4pm and 6 pm - 8 pm. A service of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Tuesday March 24, 2026, at 11 am followed by Burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 4111 Pennsylvania Ave, Silver Hill, MD 20746.
