RICHARD C. KIRKPATRICK

1942 - 2016

KIRKPATRICK RICHARD C. KIRKPATRICK, 73 years of age, passed away April 4, 2016. He was born October 15, 1942 in Grindstone, PA. Richard was raised in Cleveland and lived in Chardon for the majority of his life. Richard was employed at the DFAS at the Department of Defense for 32 years before retiring in 1997 as a Network Engineer Administrator. He and his wife Carolyn were parishioners at St. Mary's Parish in Chardon for over 30 years. Survivors include his sons Richard Michael Kirkpatrick (Shelley) of Vienna, VA, Keith Adam Kirkpatrick (Kim) of South Bend, IN and Kevin Andrew Kirkpatrick (Candy) of Columbus; daughter Kimberly Ann Harrison of Vermilion; grandchildren Kyle, Ryan, Kirk, Josslyn, Julianna, Adam, Kelton and Kasen. He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Kirkpatrick (nee: Cencer); brothers William and Paul Kirkpatrick; his parents Michael and Beryle Kirkpatrick (nee: Ellinger). Friends may call Friday, April 8, 2016, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the HEMPEL FUNERAL HOME; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Additional calling hours will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
