Sophia Roehrs Obituary
Sophia immigrated to the United States in 1956. She married Herbert H. Roehrs in 1958 and they both became U.S. citizens in 1965.
Sophia passed away on March 18, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Herbert H. Roehrs. Cherished mother of Sonya (Phil) Mertz and Patricia (Kenneth) Young. Loving grandmother of Ava Mertz, Ryan Mertz, Sophia Young, and Alyse Young. Dear sister of Rudolph Frambach (deceased), Lina Frambach (deceased), and Freidel Holzfuss (deceased).
Visitation is Monday, March 25, 2024, from 10 AM - 12 PM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070, where the service will follow at 12 PM.
In Sophia's honor, donations can be made to the Lutheran Home (Concord Reserve), Cleveland Clinic Hospice, or the Alzheimer's Association.
