Tommy, I just came across this site, looked you up and wanted to say a few words. I am so sorry for your family and other friends for in you we have all temporarily lost an awesome soul. I think only of good times, soccer at Hota and summer weekends in East Hampton. Consolation to me is that you were a self made person from our neck of the woods. You were funny, kind and loved your family and friends with total passion - always. You also loved golf. Man you had every golf gadget conceivable in that 100lb bag. It was great to see - especially from a hack like me. You and Donny coached me and my wife with kindness when we were clearly holding you guys up. Never forgot - thanks - that's you. I'll also never forget your face when you and Donnie were giving me tips to get off the tee. It was 3rd time golfing, I still suck by the way 125-130 and that's WITH cheating. Nevertheless, you changed my club from a 5 to a 8 iron, showed mE how to swing a golf club as a golf club vs. a basebell bat. Low and behold, thanks to you, I hit the luckiest shot EVER. I got a very ugly hole in one! It was a rug burner that creamed the pin and fell in whilst you both fell over. If the pin was not there, I'd have been off the green by over 75 yards. True story. We miss your humour and kindness. Your friend Frank Florio

Dear Tom,
I spoke with your mom yesterday, knowing how difficult this second anniversary will be for her. I wanted her to know that your memory will be kept alive through the people that you brought so much happiness to. I'm one of those people.
May God bless you through eternity.

But when talk about you we always end up with a smile thinking about the joy and laughs you brought to all around you. You sure could take over a room with your warmth and energy. I miss you buddy.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
