Dear Vassilios,
My prayers are with your family as they remember you today. I still have the fond memory on the night before I wed Christina Konstantinou, you teaching me the secret to making a Greek salad. Christina is your sister-in-law, Kathy's sister. Miss you! Miss you and Pete.

as we have come upon the 10th year Anniversary of this great tragedy, I cannot imagine what you and your family must be feeling. SOme of us via Facebook, are honoring those you lost their lives on that day 10 years ago and I was "assigned" Vassilios. I wanted to find out more information about him, not just his name. What I have read waa all very positive and showed me he was a great man. I send my love and prayers to you and your family. May God Bless you all,
Lisa

Even though its all these years later I want to extend my sypathies. After reading this originally I later learned that I too am related to the Haramis family. (Kremasti, Greece) So far all I have met are wonderful people.

I went to school with Julia from 1st grade through 8th, although I haven't seen her in a few years I just want to say how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I know how hard of a time this is and i just hope it gets easier for you as the days go by.

I have not had a day since September 11, where I have not thought of those who died. I can't begin to imagine what it was like in those last few moments before death arrived at your door. I only pray that you did not see it arrive. God bless you, your family and those like me who will never forget that awful day. I will always be a Proud American.

Dear Gloria and family,
My deepest sympathy on the loss of Vassilios as we worked together in Princeton.I met you in the office and we spoke and I also spoke to you at Vassilios memorial as I too suffered personally by the horrendous events of September 11 and lost my sister. Just want to let you know Vassilios was a pleasure to work with ad we miss him very much.Today,we celebrate Easter and I know you will celebrate Easter in a few weeks, these holidays are not easy for our families but we have to believe that they are all god's angels and are in eternal peace in a beautiful place where we will meet again someday.God bless you and your family and keep you in his care always.
Sincerely Desiree

Like the soothing gentleness of the water that was so loved by Vassilios my his life and love continue in those who love him. We are very sorry for your loss of Vassilios. Our hearts cry with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
