Dearest Kim,
Now that time has passed and hearts have heeled some what, i wanted to put some thoughts to words so that people may come to understand the tremendous love and beautiful heart you possessed.
You physical beauty just scratched the surface of what lay in you soul. Your kindness, thoughtfulness and unconditional love carried within you every day, was truly amazing!
The honor of knowing & loving & being loved by such an amazing women, who quietly gave of herself unconditionally every day of her life, did not go unnoticed by those of us who truly knew you.
My thoughts, prayers and love for you will carry within me has long as I breathe. I wish the very best for all those who share the same sentiments towards my dearest Kum Kum.
Love eternally,
Steven

On the tenth anniversary of that horrific day, I think of you and your loved ones and how they must be feeling. I am sure your son is a fine young man who misses his mother. I am sure your family continues to feel the void of your absence. But you are still alive in the hearts of many who knew and loved you. May God Bless you and your family.

Kum-Kum and I first met in 1979 while doing a summer job at the State Bank of India in New York. We became friends and I was always impressed with her self assuredness and bubbly personality. We coincidentally happened to travel to India on the same flight together the following year. My family remembers that flight because apparently upon arriving in India, I was too busy helping a pretty girl with her bags and making them wait for me. After that we lost touch and a few years later she invited me for her wedding reception in Westchester and that was the last time I saw her.
Last week, I attended a party and met an old friend from those days after many years. Somehow, her name came up and another friend who overheard our conversation told us that she had been a victim at the towers. The news was a shock and we were both stunned. For a whole year, I had felt fortunate that everyone I knew at the building had escaped safely and now I get this sad news.
Although, I lost touch with Kum-Kum, I know that she was the type of person who must have left her mark on the people she knew and loved and she will never be forgotten.
On behalf of my family, I wish to express my deepest condolences to her family.

Dear Kim-
I can't believe tomorrow marks one year that you are gone. It was great that we had started working for the same company after being friends outside of work for so long. I think about you often and hope you have found peace. You were a great mother and a kind and thoughtful friend. I really regret that I missed the cruise last summer. I am sure I would have had a great time. I have a beautiful picture of you and Krishan on the ship. I wish your family comfort and peace always.
Love,
Diane.

In memory of Kum-Kum Girolamo
We did not know Kum-Kum, but my husband is the brother of Cam Sutton who works for Aon. I came across this on the internet and wanted to express our deepest sympathy. I have thought of all the lives lost that day and especially of the ones from my brother-in-laws company. It still hurts deeply. Our deepest deepest sympathy to the family.

Dear Jim,
As I reflected yesterday on the six-month anniversary of my loss, I thought also about you and Krishan.I try to always include you both in my prayers. You and I know that it doesn't get less painful but it seems I'm able to keep it at bay for longer periods of time. I hope that is true for you so that the love you have for your son will have more opportunity than ever to shine through.
You know I am here. Larry

Dear Girolamo family,
Today I recived a gift from a friend and It is a Mercy Band with the name Kim Girolamo TWC on it.
I will wear this band with great pride and I would like to know all I can about her so when someone ask me about my wrist band I can tell them about her and never let her memorie die. I am so very sorry for your lose and my deepest sympathy goes to your family. I will be 40 in July and I have two children.
It sure hit home when i realized we were so close in age. I would love to have a photo of her too.
This just breaks my heart and is hard to know what to say that can even try to comfort you. I have prayed for the victims and there families but havent had a name untill now. I know I don't know you but It is so much more emotional for me to have a name to go with my prayers and know i am praying for her family. I do believe she is watching over all of you. My mother passed away when I was 18 and I still feel her with me and she helps guide me with the grace of God threw each day. If your need any special prayer pleace let me know. I will put you on our church prayer list.
I feel honored to wear her name and proudly I will wear it in honor of her memory.
Love In Christ,

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
