I just learned of both Clyde and Judy's deaths and wanted to write my sympathies. They were two wonderful people, who I go to know for a short time 30 years ago. Very kind, wonderful, down to earth people, who always made me feel extremely welcome and comfortable in their presence. My deepest sympathy to Ann, Betty and Rhoda

Clyde was one of my favorite people at Masconomet. He always greeted me with a warm smile and a great joke. I was his daughter Betty's class advisor. He always kept me up to date on her life, especially when we moved to Boxfird in 1986. In Boxford, he was my go to man for lawn equipment repairs. He always had great stories when I would drop by his shop. Knowing him and his wonderful wife Judy was always a great joy for me. My wife Stephanie and I extend our sympathies to all of his family.

I worked with Clyde for many years at Masconomet and could always count on a sincere smile or a joke from Clyde as I saw him in the halls. I often taught in both the middle and the high school so I regularly poked my head in to his shop to joke with him or tease him as I went from school to school. Clyde was a fine man and was liked by everyone. For many years I brought my lawn mower to his shop. A a regular drop off or pick up lasted 45 minutes as we passed the time talking and catching up. He was a great guy and I'll miss him.

Clyde was my boss for two formative summers in the early '80s. I was the only girl on the Masconomet maintenance and grounds crew, and always appreciated Clyde and Dick and the other guys trusting me to operate the big tractors and help line and maintain the playing fields. The men let me eat lunch with them, because the boys my own age made life a little miserable! My best thoughts go to Clyde's entire circle. I hope you tell lots of funny stories as you remember him.

Clyde was one of the kindest man I knew. And also one of the funniest, his jokes always cracked me up. He will be missed.

Clyde was a fixture at the Essex County Coop in Topsfield ,ma. We always had many laughs with Clyde at the store. We loved that Maine sense of humor and he will be missed.
