LINDSEY, JOE DARR 73, of Mineola, TX went home to be with his Lord and Savior, January 17, 2011, following an extended illness. Mr. Lindsey was born March 10, 1937 in Lamar County, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Otho Gifton Lindsey, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife Wilma Lindsey; four daughters, Christine Browning, Diane Lavinder, Sharon Wells, and Darla Smith. Also survived by his mother, Annie I. Lindsey; three brothers, Otho G. Lindsey, Jr., Charles Gilbert Lindsey and Donald Ray Lindsey; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation is Friday, January 21, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home and funeral service will be Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Restland Wildwood Chapel.

SO SORRY TO HEAR THAT JOE IS NO LONGER WITH US.I HAVE KNOWN JOE & HIS FAMILY AND ENJOYED GOING TO SCHOOL & PALYING FOOTBALL WITH THEM ON THE BUKE RANCH ON SUNDAYS. HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM.
