Shirley Marie Gronosky Walts, 76, of Elizabethtown formally of Little Falls, NY passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013. She loved her husband of 57 years Ronnie and she also loved her family dearly. She loved to garden and to paint. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth Taylor Gronosky; one sister, Mary Ellen Miller and one brother, Bill Gronosky. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Walts of the home, one son, Mark Walts of New York; three daughters, Robin Tapao and husband Cornelio "Tap" of Elizabethtown, Ramona Packer and husband Allen of Elizabethtown and Sherrie Calagro and husband Franco of Fayetteville; four brothers, James Gronosky and wife Jan of New Bern, John Gronosky and Patrick Jaquay both of New York and William Johnson of Elizabethtown; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 11:00 am at Wesley's Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Dustin Sprouse officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38103
