Inez Lorraine Forbes

Inez Lorraine (Hewitt) Forbes, 77, of Pepperell, MA passed away, April 15, 2014. She was born in Somerville, MA in 1937 and graduated high school from Cambridge High and Latin in 1955. Lorraine worked for Liberty Mutual before raising four sons and traveling the world as an army wife. After her children were grown she worked at Suburban Manor Nursing Home and Littleton House Nursing Home. Lorraine is preceded in death by her mother, Lois Metzler; father, James Hewitt; and brother, Carl Hewitt. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Anita Hewitt of Gilford, NH; sister, Ida Maclure and husband Kenneth Maclure of Bedford, NH. Lorraine was a loving mother to Scott Forbes and his wife Joann Forbes of Bridgewater, NJ; Steven Forbes and partner Charlotte Daoust of Mont Vernon, NH; Peter Forbes and wife Lisa Forbes of Pepperell, MA; and Andrew Forbes and wife Jennifer Forbes of Arlington, MA. Devoted grandmother to Laura, Catherine, Juliann, Kelly Ann, Stephen, Adam, Jonathan, Lindsey, Samantha and Kelly. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in her name to your local hospice organization.
