Robert Allan Weise

Robert A. Weise, 84, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Jerry Wittmann Weise passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. His Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in the historic sanctuary of St. Andrew's Church - Mount Pleasant, 440 Whilden Street in the Old Village. Interment will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Robert was born August 10, 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Willard and Delores Bogart Weise. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America for over 50 years and, as an Eagle Scout, served in many leadership roles locally. He was active at St. Andrew's Church - Mount Pleasant, singing in the choir for nearly 50 years. Robert served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was active locally in the American Legion and Forty and Eight. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Jerry W. Weise; his son, David Weise and his wife, Val of Poway, CA; his daughter, Carolyn Fuller and her husband, John of Macon, GA; his grandchildren, Ben, Jessica, and Sarah Weise and Matthew and Elizabeth Fuller; his sister, Sylvia Laufer and her husband, Walt of Midland, TX; and his brother-in-law, Merle Nethero of OH; and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
