Mr. Carroll Paul Sheehan

Carroll P. Sheehan of Stoneham, previously of Milton, passed away on May 17, 2016 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Diane (Sweeney) and former husband to Frances (Jones). Devoted father of Lucille Sheehan, Nancy Sheehan, Elizabeth Pomfred and her husband Thomas, Jeanne Sheehan Corcoran, Maria Sheehan, Bridget Sheehan and her wife Danielle Pond, Marybeth Sheehan and her fiancé Andrew Busa. Cherished grandfather of Timothy, Stephen, Gregory, Phillip, Edward, Thomas, Matthew, Paula, Owen and Everly. Great grandfather of Dylan, Mason, and Christopher. Republican Candidate for Governor of Massachusetts in 1974, Former Commissioner of Commerce and Development for Massachusetts, Former Regional Director for the US Department of Labor, Chairman of Planning Board City of Boston, Former Vice President and Director of RM Bradley Co, Inc., Veteran of World War II, USN, Korean War, USMC, Past Commander of Milton Post 114 American Legion. Brother of Robert Sheehan and predeceased by Frances X. Jr, Marion, Richard, Philomene McCue, and Thomas. In-laws of Loretta Sweeney, Wayne and Eileen Schultz. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
