I'm a volunteer for the Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary, and I didn't realize that Ruth had passed away until a few minutes ago (during the week hours of July 28). I found out because of a notification that a donation had been made in loving memory of Ruth, who was an avid cat lover and (along with her family and other people close to her and them) a supporter of the cat sanctuary. I am SO sorry to hear that she is no longer with us, but glad to hear that she passed away peacefully. She made a positive difference for many of God's furry children (as well as for many people), and it was a privilege to have known her!

Ruth was always a pleasure to visit. She took great pride in her appearance which was always fashionable. I looked forward to bringing her the Eucharist at Huntington Woods every week & already miss her. My condolences to her family
