Janet L Shively

Janet L. Shively, 85, of Anderson, passed away Dec. 7, 2016 at Rawlins House after an extended illness. She was born Dec. 1, 1931 in Anderson, the daughter of the late Ferrel and Mildred (Pettigrew) Biddle and was a lifelong Anderson resident. Janet had been a legal secretary and retired in 1964. She was an active member of the Anderson First United Methodist Church, where she started the prayer group and was the class administrator for the Women's Bible Study Fellowship for 19 years. She is survived by her husband, Larry Shively; sons, Mark (Sandy) Shively of Noblesville, S. Todd ( Elizabeth) Shively, St. Andrews, Scotland; grandchildren, Celeste Shively and Jared Shively both of Noblesville, Evan Shively and Jack Shively of St. Andrews, Scotland; brothers and sisters in laws, Martha Beason, Jim Shively, Marshal (Janice) Shively, Sharon Shively; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters in laws; Walter Shively, Marvin and Margaret Ludwick, Robert Beason, Carolyn Shively, and D. Janice Shively. Services will be 1 pm Saturday, at the Brown-Butz-Diedring-Funeral Service & Crematory with Rev. Bill Mathys officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
