Edward Hall Obituary

Published by Sheets Funeral Home on Apr. 9, 2017.
Edward Hall 59, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017. He is survived by his children, Jacqueline, Jason (Tyffanie) and Jonathan; grandchildren, Hannah, Victor, Carson, Caleb, and Connor; sister Karen (Terry Brownell) and brother Ken. He was preceded in death by parents William & Margaret Hall, and his wife, Crystal. Ed received his Degree in Nursing from Purdue University Calumet and worked as a Registered Nurse in multiple clinical areas but found his greatest success and interest in cardiac care. Ed had a great love of all sports. He played baseball and football as a child and instilled his love of sports into his children and grandchildren. Ed loved the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and always looked forward to the Indy 500, third turn infield. He was an avid Cubs, Bears, and Hoosier fan. Ed loved to travel with Crystal taking multiple road trips in their little Miata. Anyone who met Ed knows he was fiercely opinionated about all things, especially his politics. As the frontotemporal dementia took over his brain, Ed remained steadfast in his love of his grandchildren, walking the dog, and visiting local churches. Visitation, Thursday, April 13 from 9-11:30AM, concluding with Funeral Services at 11:30 at Sheets Funeral Home & Commercial Ave. 604 E Commercial Ave. in Lowell. Cremation will follow funeral services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration.www.sheetsfuneral.com

My friend you are missed every day. I still remember you making coffee for me in the ICU, cath lab, and ER. You held my mother´s hand when she took her last breath; she was motioning for me to leave because she knew she was dying but was unable to cross over with me there. You are with Crystal and both of you are soaring throughout the cosmos. May you both rest easy and your memories be eternal

I was going through a box of pictures the other day and found a picture from one of the STP Christmas parties. It was a group picture - you were standing next to Dr Suwan. The picture brought a smile to my face as a tear rolled down my face. I miss you my friend - you were my confidant and true friend. You were there in good times but even closer when things got tough. May you rest and find eternal peace with Crystal. May your Memory be Eternal ✝

My dear friend, Ed. You are missed with each passing day. I still remember all the challenges we faced working together in the ICU, CCU, cath lab, and ED. Many times when I am faced with a challenge at work, I think to myself, what do you think Ed? Somehow I always arrive at the answer. You were my dear friend and you were always there for me. May you and your beloved Crystal soar the heavens and cosmos. God Bless and RIP my friend.

Jackie, Jason and Jon,
May each day that passes lessen the pain brought on by loss and bring all of you peace. Your dad and mom shared so much of themselves with others. How blessed we all were for having known them.
With heartfelt sympathy.

My deepest condolences to Jackie, Jason, and Jon. Your dad was a great guy who gave you so many wonderful memories. He was my first CPR instructor years ago and I still remember his instruction and suggestions. He will be missed by his many friends. Peac

To my coffee partner at work in the ICU, I am truly shocked and saddened by your passing. When Crystal died unexpectedly your were truly lost and started dying then. You were so lost like a ship without a compass. I felt so sad by your loss of Crystal. This reunion with her in heaven is the only joy I believe you have experienced since Crystal died. I hope your children find solace in knowing you needed to be with her.

Ed was a great mentor and older brother figure to me. It was always fun working with him! Teresa and I had many great ski trips with Ed and Crystal. They showed great patience one trip and helped teach our kids to ski! Many remember their wonderful family Halloween parties! Will think of you when watching IU basketball, Da Bears, and the Cubbies! I enjoyed many great golf outings with Ed! You both were great friends to us and will never be forgotten! Thanks for the great times! Ed and Teresa Hansen
