I voice the sentiments of our classmate, Columbus. Yes, James and his late cousin, Carol Payne, were in the same class as we. We had many memorable events to share over the elementary and high school years; but our Heavenly Father has seen fit to call another classmate home. I extend to you my deepest sympathy, Just know that James is in a better place where he is free from all the toils and cares of this world.
My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family,
Brenda Shelton, Class of 1966

To the Haller family; I offer to you my prayers, my condolences and words of sympathy from James' classmates from his high school class better known as the Class of 1966 (i.e., first to be known as the T. L. Pink High School of Glen Flora, Texas but later to become the El Campo High School of El Campo, Texas). My relationship with James Haller goes way back to 1954 as one of Mrs. Callie Mae Pink's students for the first, second and third grade classes. It was just like yesterday when James Haller, Carl Lee Bradshaw and myself, Columbus Coleman, Jr. were three (3) lost sailors at sea for one of our first class plays. The words to the songs continue to roll freely from my memories: "sailing, sailing over the boundary main for many a stormy winds shall blow till Jack comes home again". So now as our sailor makes his final roll into the sea and the gates of Heaven your classmates (Brenda Shelton, Maryland; Columbus Coleman, Jr., New York: Evelyn Tolden, Carl Lee Bradshaw, Carol Owens, Delores Duncan, Dorothy Mack, Wilma Jones, Doris Hatton, Rayvelt Hatton, Annie Ruth Anderson, Mable Lee Jones, Mable Lee Jones(35), all of Texas; Ida Hawks, Ohio; and Lois Armstrong, Colorado) stand and salute our classmate. We stand together with our dear teacher, Mrs. Pink (98 yrs.) still living in Texas; we all stand with sadness to salute our of sailor "good bye" as we sing together the closing frame: "...till James goes home again". May God continue to bless and to keep the Haller family in his care and in his warm embrace.

MY HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES ARE EXTENDED TO THE FAMILY OF DIEGO
Remember me when you hear the wind blow.
I am with God, I need you to know.
He called my name, and I went to see
If the voice I heard was speaking to me.
He took my hand, we walked along
The road to heaven, where I belong.
The angles sang so sweet and clear.
They sang of love and that Jesus is near.
I felt his touch, I saw his face,
I knew in an instant I was in his grace.
He spoke to me, I heard him say,
You are home now child, you have found your way.
So remember me when you hear the wind blow.
I am home now with God, I need you to know.
