Cathy was my dearest friends growing up in Mitchell, SD. We shared so many experiences that I will cherish always. I loved the Feinstein family. Cathy, Steve, Lee, Shirley and Norlie were people I loved and always looked up to. I will miss Cathy and her sweetness and great sense of humor. I am so sorry to hear of Cathys passing. We had communicated this past year via emails and I was under impression that she was on a path to recovery. I have not seen Cathy since high school but always remember her as a high school classmate that I wished I had gotten to know better as she was a beautiful, nice person.

My husband Jim and I are very sorry to hear about Cathys passing. Jeff, Cathy, Jim and I took dancing lessons together at Golden Valley Country Club prior to both our daughters getting married because we wanted to not trip over our feet on the dance floor at our daughters weddings!!! Our daughters were friends growing up and still keep in touch. I didnt know Cathy as long as others may have but I was fortunate to have known her, if only for a short time.

I will remember Cathy always as one of the most compassionate and caring people I know. We met in college and we both worked at Pillsbury afterwards. What a joy it was to see her often and share our thoughts and experiences together. She was so bright and loved to laugh. I am lucky to have known her. She will be missed.

I was fortunate enough to work with and get to know Cathy over a number of years back when she spent most of her time at the law firm, even after that, she came to events where we could catch up. She was so passionate, so positive, so excited, so determined... so smart! so driven. No wonder her fingerprints were all over the layers of success she and Jeff enjoyed in their practice. Cathy contributed to so many other women attorneys and law firm managers and marketers. She shared anything that worked with anyone else who may have been able to benefit from it.
Once... during the San Diego fires in 2007, she stepped in and handled some of our seminar sessions for our company! She made sure the hotel was on top of the refreshments, that Academy Members had their materials... it was sort of a mess with evacuations and some chaos going on. She looked at me and said, "you go... I've got this, it's not like I haven't done this before...." And THAT was final. I've thought of her in that moment so many times. I'm sure that her impact on everyone she knew was very much like my experience of her. She will be remembered forever as a wonderful, generous, loving and straight-shooting person.
