In addition, she leaves behind 10 great nieces and nephews, and 4 great great nieces and nephews. Also left behind is Joseph Greene, her "son from another mother" and his children. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Henry Fulton and Virginia Fulton. Susan was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 9, 1939. She graduated from Peabody High School. She married the love of her life, Joseph Fish, in 1963. They bought a home and raised a family in the Pittsburgh suburb of Churchill, in the wonderful neighborhood of Blackridge. Their home on Williamsburg Place was known by all as the house with the fish hanging on a sign at the top of the driveway. Susan was very active in the community. In addition to being a longtime member of the Blackridge Garden Club, Blackridge Civic Association and Blackridge Swim Club, she was dedicated to her church, St. James Episcopal in Penn Hills. She was very proud of all the work she did with the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh and the youth program, "Happening." She touched the lives of many youth and cherished all her experiences bringing young people to know the Lord. Growing up, Susan and her sister, Mary Anne, were very proud to be members of Calvary Episcopal Church in Shadyside. Their years spent at Sheldon Calvary Camp in Conneaut, Ohio are memories she also cherished. Susan was very active in the lives of her children. She loved helping sew costumes for the Churchill High School musicals and being a Churchill Charger Marching Band parent. Whatever her children were involved in, Susan was there being loving, supportive and always encouraging. From Girl Scouts to swim team, Susan had a very active presence that was appreciated by many. Susan loved gardening, quilting, reading, singing and genealogy. She was an avid Pittsburgh fan of the Pirates, Steelers and Penguins. One of her favorite Pittsburgh memories was being at the 1960 World Series Game 7 at Forbes Field, witnessing the ninth-inning home run hit by Bill Mazeroski. She was also a constant fan of the many teams all her grandchildren played on. But, more than anything, Susan loved the Lord her God with all her heart, all her soul, all her strength and with all her mind. After moving to Valley Forge she found a new church home at the Church of the Good Samaritan in Paoli, Pennsylvania. At Church of the Good Samaritan she enjoyed weekly worship services, Sunday school, bible study and volunteering in the office once a week. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Good Samaritan Food Closet. I will miss my Pittsburgh connection in our Book Club. We shared many happy and loving memories of having been raised in the Pittsburgh suburbs, she in Churchill and me in Sewickley. When next in Pittsburgh, I will leave a memento with Sue's name on the 1960 home run wall. Sue's memory will be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

When a Christian dies, scripture tells us in 2 Cor 5:8, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. To shed this earthly body and gain our heavenly body is as easy as taking a breath. Please take comfort in this. My own memory of your mom is one of a deeply devoted, Christ-centered person, a prayer partner of my own mother. She was a person full of love and that shined through for all of us. I'm so sorry that she's gone. I rejoice that one day I will see her again in Glory!

Mrs. Fish was a good, kind person. I remember her well during my teenage years at St. James. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. May God be with you and give you strength during this difficult time.

... and God asked the Angels "I have a special mission on earth, who can I send"? , and Sue answered "Lord send me" Sue completed her mission faithfully, touching the lives of many both in her home surrounds and across the global, reminding people of God's great love and compassion for them, inspiring them to serve a Living Gods. May her homeward journey be safe and the welcome tremendous.

Although I only got to know Sue for a very short time, I enjoyed the time I spent with her in Book Club and at parties on the Mountain. Her goodness and spirit shone through her eyes and her beautiful smile. What a blessing she was to all who had the good fortune to know her. I'll miss her.
