To Karen's husband and children, I am sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers. May God comfort you during this difficult time and enable you to have peace in your heart. May the blessings that you have shared with Karen provide you with joyful memories. I was on the faculty with Karen at St. Hubert H.S. For Girls. Karen was in both the Science Department and the Health/ Physical Education Department. I taught Health alongside with Karen. I remember Karen as a very dedicated and compassionate teacher. She was a wonderful friend who was never too busy to lend an ear. May you enjoy eternal happiness, Karen.

She was my student at Sacred heart College (Cullman College) in Alabama when I first started teaching in 1966. I still remember her after all these years. I am sorry for you loss.

To Chris, Phillip, and Tommy, I taught with Karen from 95-2000 and found her to be a wonderful person and a teacher much loved by her students. She and I had caf duty together, so we bonded right away (both of us having sons! ). I hope your sorrow fades as your memories of happy times lasts forever. Tina Amato
