Yen Thi Nguyen, 71, of North Charleston, SC, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 in Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, 1106 Fort Drive, Hanahan, SC at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends Friday at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Yen was born March 19, 1947 in Saigon, Vietnam, daughter of the late Huong Nguyen and the late Sang Thi Nguyen. She was a member of Divine Redeemer Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Duc Van Pham of North Charleston, SC; sister, Ro Nguyen of Vietnam; brothers: Hoa Nguyen (Tuan Nguyen) of North Charleston, SC, Minh Nguyen of Vietnam (Xuan Dang of North Charleston), Chanh Nguyen (Tam Nguyen) of New Jersey City, NJ; sister, Nga Nguyen (Hung Tran); brother, Harry Nguyen (Kim Nguyen); sister-in-law, Mui Nguyen all of Hanahan, SC; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tri Nguyen.
