On Sunday November 24, 2019, Sean Patrick McGonagle loving son, brother, and uncle passed away at the age of 35. Sean was born on March 4th 1984 in Abington, Pa. to Dennis and Kathleen McGonagle (nee Gallagher). Sean was a standout athlete and captain of the Wissahickon Senior High School Football Team and loyal Philadelphia sports fan. He loved spending time with his family and especially cherished every moment spent with his two nieces and nephew. Sean was the dear brother to Jennifer McGonagle, Kelly McGonagle (Adam Wetzel), Sarah Lubragge (Michael Lubragge), beloved uncle to Samantha Camper, Michael Sean Lubragge and Abigail Lubragge as well as his loving Japanese Chin Shamus McGonagle. He will also be missed dearly by his long time caregiver and dear friend, Naja Weldon along with his High School Football Coach and lifelong friend, Coach Tim Miller. Relatives and friends are invited to Sean's services on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 10 am to 11:50 am followed by a prayer service at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish Life Celebration Home of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike. Interment to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Sean's memory made to Victim Services Center of Montgomery County at https://www.victimservicescenter.org/donate or to 325 Swede St. 2nd Floor, Norristown, PA 19401. Sean will always have a special place in my heart. He made me laugh even when he was in pain and he was always there to pump me up when I would question myself.
