Earl and I started working together when he made a late career shift. I was so impressed by the way he lived his life and went about starting at a new company that he soon became someone I looked up to as a mentor. Earl had a comfortable way of working that always lead to perfect results, without any negative impact. Soon other coworkers and customers found this to be true and started requesting to work with Earl. Always a gentleman and solid engineer that perform to the highest level. One of my favorite story of Earl was when he worked for a traitor company and a big customer in Tennessee call and demanded the company to send an engineer to fix his new tractor, as we all know why the company sent Earl to settle the Farmer down. Once getting there the Farmer showed Earl the barn where the broken tractor, however, once entering the barn it was clear the tractor was from a different company. The Farmer was humbled by his mistake, with such a large operation he had call the wrong company. Earl could have left, but determined to give the same high level of customer service he when ahead and fixed the mans problem on a tractor he didn't even engineer. The man was so impressed that he called the company and reported how Earl was the best and he would be buying more of their tractors. Of course Earl only told me half of this story the humble man he was, the rest I had to piece together from my own experiences with Earl. As time when on I realized as Earl's supervisor I wasn't teaching Earl the business, Earl was teaching me. I'm glad to have known and worked with Earl, truly a person that impact all he came in contact with!

Warm Wishes,
Dave Robinson

Mike, I am so sorry for the loss of your Father.....Loss is hard at anytime, but especially at this time of the year when the world is celebrating this joyous season....My heart goes out to you and your family, especially your Mom who I've always known as Aunt Dorothy.

May he rest in peace and may memories of happier times bring you comfort.

I met Mr. Dean when I was 6 1/2 years old, we moved in next door. A better part of every summer until I was 16, was spent with the Dean family at Port Crescent State Park. Those summers are some of my fondest memories. Mr. Dean would always tell Linda and I to "stay out of trouble," which of course we did. He always made me feel welcome and a part of the family.

His kind words and great laugh will be missed, not forgotten, as a man like Grandpa Earl (my kids call him that) should be remembered for the love he showed his wife, children, grandchildren and friends.

No words can express how sorry I am, but how grateful I am to have known him.
