Kenneth C. Duffield

Kenneth C. Duffield, 88, of Elyria passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019. He was born to the late Vince and Ruie on October 26, 1931 in O'Brion, West Virginia. Kenneth is a United States Army veteran and served during the Korean War. He was a Realtor in Elyria for 40 years and a welder. Ken loved God and spent his life serving others through local churches. He was a member of LifeSpring Community Church in Valley City, Ohio. He was fiercely independent, protective, and loving to his family and loved telling stories. He found great enjoyment being outdoors fishing, hunting, golfing, playing baseball and softball, and bowling. Mr. Duffield is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sylvia M. (nee McTheny); sons Richard Duffield (Robin), Carl Duffield (Marlene), Wayne Duffield (Jennifer); 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; siblings Cam (Lenore), Gary (Loretta), Denise, Ishmael. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Macel, Everet, John, Larry, Timmy. Friends may call 11am – 1pm Monday, December 30 at Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street, Elyria.
