Dr. Kara E. Renner

Dr. Kara E. Renner, of Westwood, MA, died June 18th 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Thomas J. Grindrod for 23 years. Loving mother of Joseph Grindrod of Westwood. Sister of John Renner and his wife Kathie of Newton and Sheila Grace and her husband Andrew of Strafford, VT. Cherished aunt of Jaclyn, John and Jaimie Renner. Also survived by many loving family members and dear friends. Kara loved socializing and spending time with friends and family more than anything. People were what mattered the most to her. She was a kind and loving person who always thought of the needs of others instead of herself. When she gave you a hug you really felt like you got a hug. We love her dearly and will miss here every day. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Tuesday, June 29th from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning June 30th at 10:30 am in St. Timothy's Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood. Interment will be private.
