Andrea Cole, age 67, of Palm Beach, FL and Norwood, MA, passed away in Delray Beach, FL on January 17, 2026 surrounded by family. She was the beloved wife of 25 years of Michael K. Angelus, the youngest child of the late Atty. Arthur N. Cole and Helen S. Cole, sister to Diane Cole Laine of Newton, William A. Cole of Brookline, and aunt to Heidi A. Laine and her husband Dr. John Kozlauska of Lynnfield.
Andrea was born in Boston and grew up in Newton, MA, graduating from Newton South High School. She went on to earn a B. A. degree in finance from Simmons College. After an initial career upon graduation as a bank manager for BayBank, Andrea returned to school, graduating from Suffolk University Law School with a J. D. degree. She was admitted to the bar and worked as an attorney in her late father’s law office and later in association with her husband as a principal of the law firm Cole & Angelus in Westwood, MA.
After being diagnosed with a non-smoker’s form of lung cancer 26 years earlier, Andrea became actively involved in the direction of her own treatment course, and a zealous patient advocate, demonstrating her great personal strength and courage, as well as compassion for others facing similar health crises.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Tuesday, February 10th from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday morning, February 11th at 11 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 57 Brown St., Weston. Following the Service, interment will be at Newton Cemetery,
