Phyllis Annette Adams

Phyllis A. Adams, of Indianapolis died Sunday, July 11, 2021. She was 82 years old. Phyllis was born to Hermon and Garnet (Lotshaw) Denney in Indianapolis on March 6, 1939. After graduating from high school Phyllis worked at the Dog N Suds as a car hop on roller skates. She spent many years as a babysitter, school bus driver for Franklin Township Schools, and customer service rep for JTI International. She enjoyed playing euchre, roller skating, bowling, reading, dancing, flowers, butterflies, and birds, especially hummingbirds. She was a girl scout and cub scout leader, and always put her family first. In addition to her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by her ex husband, Ronald Tielking; husband, Charles Adams, and daughter Deborah (Tielking) Murphy. She is survived by children, Kenneth Tielking, Jeff Tielking (Sharon), Melissa (Tielking) Wolz and her husband Tom; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Services are Saturday, July 17th at 11 A.M. at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory-Franklin Township Chapel. Burial will follow at Acton Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the chapel on Friday, July 16th from 4:00-8:00 P.M.
