William J. McPhillips

William J. McPhillips of Warminster, Pa., passed away on July 15, 2021, surrounded by family. He was 57 years old. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of Constance (nee Keane) McPhillips and the late James McPhillips. Bill is survived by his mother, Connie, his siblings Connie Cook (Bob), Jim McPhillips (Karen), and Marian Helsel (Gregg), as well as his 16 nieces and nephews and 3 great nieces and nephews. A graduate of Council Rock High School, Bill earned his degree from Moravian College, where he was captain of the track and cross country teams. He spent many years in construction, including owning his own company, then spent the remainder of his career in the insurance claims business. Spending time with him was a gift. Bill had fun and entertained us with stories of his adventures, recalling family history, and sharing his unique perspective on people and events. He loved to help others by lending an ear, offering advice, or getting things done. He rarely complained when faced with difficulties, choosing instead to push through, or eliminate any obstacles. Most important to Bill were family and good friends. He took pride in always being a devoted son, loving brother, and caring uncle. Close friends to Bill were like family. He was one of a kind, and will be greatly missed. To honor Bill's memory, please listen to the song, My Wish, by Rascal Flatts. Relatives and friends are invited to Bill's Life Celebration on July 22, 2021 from 10:30am until his Funeral Mass at 11:30am, Nativity of Our Lord Church, 605 West Street Road, Warminster Pa, 18974. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Bill's memory.
