Lyndon Burch Shell Inman Lyndon Burch Shell, 85, of 107 Terry Avenue in Inman, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Golden Age in Inman. Born in Dayton, Tennessee on September 2, 1936, he was a son of the late Coreba Elizabeth Wollen Shell and Samuel Patrick Shell. He was the widower of Gloria Adelle Childers Rhymer Shell and was first married to the late Edith Elaine Sherbert Brock Shell, and second to Martha Ann Gilreath Shell. He was a 1955 graduate of Fairforest High School, a mason, a US Air Force veteran, and was retired from Phelps Dodge in Inman. Family members include; a son, Tim Shell and his wife Veverly of Inman, two step sons, Bill Rhymer, Scott Rhymer, five step daughters, Debbie Rhymer, Kim Stephens, Lyn Rhymer, Tina Cothran, Reese Laster, three brothers; Doyle Shell, Patrick Shell, Cawood Shell, three sisters; Alma Rose Gossett, Lynda Estes, Lavada Byers, sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Graveside services at Good Shepherd in Boiling Springs will be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
