Dianne Mary McCarthy McKinnon

Dianne Mary McCarthy McKinnon, 71, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 27, 2022. Her memorial mass will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022 in St. Patrick's Cathedral, 212 Main St., Watertown, MA at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday, March 29, 2022 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mt. Pleasant, SC from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, and again on Monday, April 4, 2022 in MacDonald & Rockwell Funeral Service, Inc., 270 Main St., Watertown, MA from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. Dianne was born October 2, 1950 in Boston, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Joseph McCarthy and the late Doris Gildea McCarthy. She was a administrative assistant, but will be remembered most for the way she loved her family. She is survived by her three children, Julie Anne DeGrenier (William) of Braintree, MA, Charles Joseph McKinnon, Jr. (Robin Waine) of Everett, MA, and Leslie Iaria (David) of Daniel Island, SC; seven grandchildren, Benjamin Iaria, Gregory Ford, Sarah Iaria, Caroline Ford, Grace Iaria, Erica Iaria, and Drew Iaria; and five siblings, Joseph McCarthy, Jr.(Jeanette) of Framingham, MA, Carol O'Grady (Michael) of Framingham, MA, Robert McCarthy (Dorothy) of Watertown, MA, Paul McCarthy of Lexington, MA, and Edward McCarthy (Janice) of Billerica, MA; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
