Ashley Michelle Pruitt

Ashley Michelle Onley Pruitt, 46, resident of 140 Rutledge Road, wife of Steven Michael "Steve" Pruitt, died Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Hospice House. Born in Columbia, September 30, 1969, she was a daughter of Valorie Sanders Onley and the late Donald Ray "Donny" Onley. Ashley was a graduate of Clemson University where she received a BA degree in Accounting and was also a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Lander University where she received a degree in Early Childhood Education. She always wrapped her life around her family and was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Ashley was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Surviving in addition to her husband of twenty-one years of the home and her mother and step-father, Daniel R. Davis of Chapin are three beloved children, Molly Elizabeth Pruitt of Furman University, Tillman Sanders Pruitt and Jacob Anderson Pruitt, both of the home; two sisters, Melanie M. Onley and Tod Willette of Columbia and Brantley O. Ballard and husband Chad of Seneca; a brother, Jonathan S. Onley; and maternal grandmother, Helen Kelley Sanders, both of Columbia. A memorial service will be conducted Monday, November 2, 2015 at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Kyle Hite officiating.
