BELMONT, N.C. — Jack Leonard Baker, 46, of 114 Wildlife Road, died Monday, June 9, 2008. He was born in Garland, Texas.Survivors include his wife, Debra Ann Harris Baker; one son, Charles “Charlie” Adams Baker of the home; his parents, Sylvester Wayne and Judith Ann Black of Montcalm, W.Va.; five brothers, Sylvester Wayne Black II and wife Alicia of Montcalm, W.Va., Eric Nathan Baker and wife Diana of Rock, W.Va., Waylan Black of Little Elm, Texas, Gary and Jeffery Black both of Arkansas.A memorial service to celebrate the life of Jack Baker was held 4:00 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2008 at South Point Free Will Baptist Church in Belmont with the Rev. Ronnie Wilson officiating.
