Roger Guillemette Obituary
Burlington - Roger A. Guillemette lost his valiant battle with diabetes and coronavirus on April 14, 2020. He was born January 26, 1952 to Ludger and Cecile (Dupuis) Guillemette. He graduated from Champlain Valley Union High School. He was a loyal and trusted employee of South Burlington School District for 32 years. He also loved being around and helping on the family farm.
He leaves his mother, sisters and brothers, Marguerite (Dick) Meunier, Gerald (Gerry), Jacqueline (Dwight) Bissonette, Helen (Allen) Rathbun, Michael (Joyce), Bernie (Joanne) and dear friends Jerry and Terri Robinson, as well as many nieces nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, his twin brothers, Paul and Henry and sister-in -law Betty.
Many thanks to the wonderful angels of Bayada for their special care.
Due to current conditions burial will take place privately at Resurrection Park and a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at a later date to be announced. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Ready Funeral Home South Chapel 261 Shelburne Rd in Burlington. Please visit www.readyfuneral.com to place on-line condolences.

Dear Mrs. Guillemette and family,
We are saddened to hear of Roger's passing. I was in the square dance club in the 90"s with him and his former wife. What fun we had !! Take peace in knowing he is being well cared for. Our deepest sympathy to all of you.

To my dear " adopted" family,
Or maybe I should say "adopting" because you have always been so inclusive of me. It is with a heavy heart that I write this, remembering Roger. The trip he, brothers Mike and Bernie, and I took to Washington DC many years ago, the summer I lived at the Guillemette farm and how Roger shared his room with me in his unselfish, laid back, way.
I especially send my condolences to his Mom, who he loving called Maa, [I am not sure how to spell it the way he spoke it but I can hear him say it]. It has to be unbearably difficult to experience the loss of one of your own children. I hope all the rest of you will give her hugs from me until I can give her one myself.

Roger was always very sweet and talked to me personally in a manner in way that I felt seen. He had a lightness and shared memories with me of his family farm. He was always positive and such a hard worker showing how he cared. I am so sad and will miss Roger. Rest in peace <3

I worked with Roger at SBSD. He always had a smile and a laugh you could here a mile away. Also square danced with him and his wife. Had a lot of good laughs with Roger. Sure going to miss him.
