AGE: 47 • Robbinsville
Stanley Wojtkowski, 47, of Robbinsville died on Thursday in Middle Township.
Born in Linden and raised in Rahway, he had lived in East Windsor for many years before moving to Robbinsville two years ago.
He graduated from Rowan University with his bachelor degree in criminal justice. Stash was a sergeant with the New Jersey State Police and had been on the force since 1989. He was a member of the State Troopers NCO Association, and of the Linden Hunting and Fishing Club.
Son of the late Stanley F. Wojtkowski, he is survived by his two sons, Brett and Hunter Wojtkowski, his estranged wife, Susan Lazar Wojtkowski, his mother, Stephanie Lehan Wojtkowski, his four brothers, Adam Wojtkowski, Stephen Wojtkowski, John Wojtkowski, and Joseph Holley, his sisters, Joan Wojtkowski, Margie Wojtkowski, and Jeannie DeGroot, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Diane Holley and Peggy Ann Holley.
Stash's funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Cremation will be private.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Stash to the State Police Memorial Association, P.O. Box 7068, West Trenton, NJ 08628-0068.

Dear Stephanie, I and my family are saddened to hear of Stans passing. Although it has been many years since I have seen Stan I remember him as a bright,happy and upright young man. We loved having him visit in our home and we enjoyed visiting with you and your family in your home too many years ago. My late husband Joe looked forward to playing basketball with Stan and the crew in the back of Madison school long after they graduated. Uncle Stash,
