GILLIAN LYNNE Obituary
The Shubert Organization mourns the passing of Dame Gillian Lynne, the brilliant choreographer whose inspired creativity has brightened Broadway stages since 1965. Her New York credits include CATS, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Aspects of Love, and the longest-running show in Broadway history, Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, currently playing in its 31st year at the Majestic Theatre. Our condolences on your loss. We had the opportunity to see both plays in NYC years ago and truly enjoyed them. Although your hearts are heavy you can take comfort in knowing that Ms Lynne enjoyed her life and had numerous contributions in the theatre. At 92 years old, I hope she lived a beautiful life. I'm sure she has been impactful and has touched those she interacted with.
