Marie Thompson Obituary
Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery, Troup.
Pallbearers will be Joe Odom, Les Burkett, Travis Hunt, Ron Shultz, James Farmer and Ray Shultz.
Marie was born Dec. 8, 1925, in Troup to the late David and Zeddie Worlie Holman. She passed away peacefully on Oct. 29, 2012, at her residence.
She retired as an LVN for East Texas Medical Center and was a member of Shiloh Road Church of Christ for more than 30 years.
Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Forest Thompson; children, Ronnie Hobelman, Danny Hobelman, Beverly Hobelman, Forest Dean Thompson, Carl Thompson and Wanda Fontenot; sister, Linda Holman; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
