Norman Pacheco Obituary

Pacheco, Norman C.



Norman C. Pacheco, 66, was born in San Juan Pueblo, NM to Rosa Cata Pacheco and Jose Pacheco. He was greatly influenced by his grandparents, who taught him about their Native American traditions which enriched his life and artwork.

Norman attended Highland High School and UNM where he achieved a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Fine Arts. His artwork included intricate spiritual paintings, murals, carvings, poems and books reflecting his Native American and Hispanic Heritage.

He is survived by his son Jeremy, wife Cristy; grandkids, Nissa, Kyana, and Kaira from Phoenix; his brother, Will; sister, Maxine; her daughter, Crystal Torres from Albuquerque; aunts, uncles, cousins, and his fiance, Lenna Lucero from Cordova who was with him 28 years until his death; her children, Lynette, Leann and Lawrence, wife Amanda and grandkids, Daniel, Victoria, Jason and Orlando.

Norman leaves behind a beautiful and spiritual legacy and will be truly missed by all. Memorial services will be held on Monday July 25, 2016 at 3pm Riverside Funeral Home in Albuquerque. Reception following at American Legion Post 99
