Rachel Bryk Obituary
Rachel was an amazing woman, full of passion and talent. Her love of video games and computers led her into programming at only ten years old. Although she started small, her expertise grew. By the time of her death, she was well-known and at the top of her field in the area of game emulation. For no pay, she donated most of her time to helping others, and developing and improving software, used by countless people around the world.
Rachel had a love for music, cats, and all things pink. She was highly intelligent and had a thirst for knowledge that drove her to seek out information even on the most obscure topics. If there was something she didn't know, she was sure to take the time to educate herself, and everyone around her, whether they wanted it or not. There wasn't anything she couldn't figure out when she set her mind to it.
Rachel is survived by her parents, Roger and Lisa Bryk, paternal grandmother Edna Bryk and her siblings, Sandra, Tony, and Jennylee. She also left behind her girlfriend, Faye, two beloved cats, a sewer gremlin, and a large extended family. She will be greatly missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 22 at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. Funeral service will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 23 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. Anne Cemetery, Wall. Our hearts cry for the family of this young lady our niece. Life is just to short and when you lose a child a sister a friend it reminds you just how short life is so remember to always tell the ones you love just how important they are to you. I do not know you. I did not know Rachel. I read the blog and I am incredibly sad. For Rachel, her family , the world.
Perhaps what Bruce Jenner is going through will enlighten the ignorant. May Rachel rest in peace and hopefully, someday, her family will find peace too. My sincere sympathy for the unbelievable grief you must bear

I wish I could have been there, on that bridge, to say a comforting word, to try to change her mind, to tell her there's still hope, at least so she wasn't alone. My heart and prayers go out to her family.
