Cynthia "Cindy" Healy McKnight

AGE: 57 • Colts Neck

Cynthia "Cindy" Healy McKnight, 57, of Colts Neck, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Middletown, NY, she grew up and lived in Middletown, NJ before moving to Colts Neck 25 years ago. A graduate of the University of Charleston, West Virginia, Cindy retired as a senior probation officer for Monmouth County.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas; her mother, Eileen Dietrich; her two sisters, Kathleen Brazas and Patricia Healy; and the two most special people in her world, her nephews, John Joshua and Jay. She leaves behind many dear cousins and friends who will miss the twinkle of her blue eyes and her ability to turn ordinary events into magical moments.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 12 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colts Neck. Arrangements are under the direction of the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold. In lieu of flowers, please do a random act of kindness in her memory.

Cindy was a roommate of mine one summer in college, as well as a friend. We lost touch and after I joined Facebook a few years ago, I found out she was gone. I will always remember how hilarious she was , especially with that Donald Duck voice! She will never be forgotten. So sorry for your loss.

Tom~ was saddened to hear the news today . You and Cindy were a big part of our kids' lives and the Graziano clan over the years. Your pool parties were great fun and Cindy always had us laughing trotting around in her bikini doting on all of us. Frankie and Delia still remember those pool parties and I had a big smile reminiscing about all the good times we shared. I still remember a Halloween party we had at our house..you guys were a cave couple..only Cindy could pull-off the sexy, funny cave woman.
