Joseph Mozdzen Obituary
AGE: 72 • Sayreville
Joseph Mozdzen Sr., 72, of Sayreville passed away Thursday August 1, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Sayreville he was a lifelong borough resident.
Before his retirement in 3 years ago he was employed as a custodian for South Brunswick Board of Education where he worked for 11 years and prior to that for Johnson & Johnson Personal Products division in North Brunswick where he worked for 28 years. Joseph was an avid hunter and fisherman with his sons.
He is predeceased by his son, Joseph "Joe Moz" Mozdzen Jr. on July 9, 2013; his brothers, Edmund, Chester, Benny, Edward, John, Bruno, & Stanley Mozdzen; and his sisters, Irene Posch, Stella Shork, Wanda Stelmaszek and Helen Mozdzen. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Beatrice Duh Mozdzen; children and their spouses, Steven & Cheryl Mozdzen of Sayreville, Denise & George Pinaha of Toms River; his daughter-in-law, Natalie Mozdzen of Sayreville; his grandchildren, Joseph, Calli Marie, Mary, Amanda and Alex; and his sisters, Theresa Swiderski of Spotswood.
Funeral services will be held 8:30 am Monday from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville followed by a 9am mass at Saint Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church in Sayreville with private cremation to follow. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm.
