Pamela James Obituary
Somerville - In loving memory: Pamela passed away at home on December 9, 2020. She was born in Dover, NJ in 1957. She moved to Somerville in 1989 after living in Lower Berkshire Valley, NJ and Bettendorf, IA. She worked as a stylist at Great Lengths Hair Salon in Bridgewater, where she shared over 30 years of laughter, tears and memories. Pam had many interests, enjoying cooking, gardening, and interior decorating. The beach was a special place for her, with many fond memories in the sunny salty air with the sand beneath her feet. She especially loved spending time with family and friends. She would be the one to catch you in a quiet moment to ask how you really are and wanted to hear everything you had to say. Pam was caring, dedicated, and encouraging with quiet strength and a big heart. She was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by those who knew her. She is predeceased by her parents, George James and Sally Gibson James and her brother-in-law Eric Blassneck. She is survived by her siblings: Claudia Blassneck, Barbara Bourque and her husband Ron, Thomas James, and his wife Susan, and five nieces and nephews, Gregory Blassneck, Pamela Bourque Delfino, Lisa Bourque Galinski, Paul James and Sarah James. A celebration of life visitation will be 4-6pm Saturday, June 5, 2021 with services at 5:30pm at Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave, Somerville.
